Food for thought
When you organise for the evaluation of your initiative did you check and have thought about:
- Whether what you plan for evaluation is in line with original intention and objective?
- Whether the methods are apt for the original intentions and objective?
- Whether everybody is still aware on what is going on?
- The benefits / gains of evaluation are clear for everybody
- The relationship with teaching and learning outcome is indicated;
- Of your teachers and your school climate being the most relevant factors contributing to good learning outcomes;
- Whether stakeholders are involved / the benefits for stakeholder involvement;
- Dealing with expectations and questions; prepare to address without delay;
- Not falling in the trap of blaming people; focus on rewarding;
